Ed Daniels
Throughout his career, Ed Daniels has assisted companies in startup, development stage and transitional growth situations. Before becoming a full-time consultant, Ed served as CEO, COO, President and VP Operations of several healthcare and Internet technology organizations. Ed specializes in helping entrepreneurs and executives formulate their goals translating concepts into quantitative goals, objectives and plans.
Ed served as President of CanDoGo, an Internet content provider. Prior to CanDoGo, Ed was the Chief Operating Officer of RMD Networks, Inc., a provider of secure online communications solutions that connect patients, physicians, specialists, care providers, payers and pharmaceutical companies together.
Prior to his time at RMD Networks Inc., he was Vice President of Operations and Corporate Integration at Vercuity, a privately-held telecommunications company. Ed assisted One Equity Partners in the formation of Vercuity by rolling up five telecommunications expense management companies, including Digital Reliance, Inc.
Before Vercuity, Ed was President and Chief Operating Officer of SalesReps Online, Inc., where he participated in the formation, operation and sales of the company to Siebel Systems.
Ed also served as Chief Operating Officer of IMS Medacom, Inc., a healthcare data communications company, where he assisted with the company's sale to Eli Lilly & Company and the formation of Kinetra, LLC, a joint venture between Eli Lilly and EDS. Ed also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Patient Care Dynamics, Inc. and as President of GeriMed of America, Inc.
Ed earned an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Ed is a retired Fire Chief after 14 years of service with Foothills Fire and Rescue, a volunteer fire department located in the mountains west of Golden, Colorado.
